Description
The insurance approved hitchlock completely covers the hitch head and bolts.
The FORT AK hitchlock is specifically designed to fit the AL-KO AK301 and AK351 hitch couplings.
These AL-KO hitch couplings are typically found on Brian James, Woodford and PRG Car Transporter Trailers. For confirmation of which model hitch fits this hitch lock please refer to our hitchlock selection fitting guide.
The hitchlock will fit the hitch coupling when unhitched or hitched to the towing vehicle. It should only be fitted and hitched when stationary, to prevent towing vehicle and trailer from being separated, like in a car park or motorway service station.
The maximum security-safe style lock on this hitchlock has twin hardened pins to lock and anti-drill protection on the lock to deter thieves.
The FORT range of hitchlocks is finished in a combination of silver zinc plating and bright red powder coating for maximum visual deterrent.
Compact and easily stored which makes it ideal for touring. A tough plastic hitchlock carry case is available from SAS at an extra charge.
