SAS Hitch Locks are an extremely effective way to stop your trailer being hitched up to another vehicle. SAS hitch locks cover the hitch coupling of your trailer and stop thieves from tampering with the hitch and the bolts surrounding it*. A hitch lock is not only effective at stopping your trailer being hitched up, but also stopping it being unhitched from your vehicle, adding an extra level of protection that stops any damage occurring to your trailer. Hitch locks are a great deterrent to thieves due to their robust design, requiring a substantial amount of force to break them. Chains and padlocks are a more traditional way of securing your possessions. But just because they are slightly more old school doesn’t mean they are any less effective. When it comes the chains and padlocks, size matters! SAS chains, such as the SAS 14mm Heavy Duty Security Square Chain & Padlock (2m), have hardened steel chain links measuring a whopping 14mm in diameter, they are tough! Chains are a great way of securing both trailers and any other items you might have that you don’t want to go wandering overnight. All the SAS chains have been designed to be extremely tough, they are covered in protective cloth sleeve material to making it even harder to cut through, while also stopping the chain damaging your trailer or equipment while you are using it. Chains are a fantastically useful security mechanism as they are highly versatile in their use, and very easy to transport.

What is the use of these chains if you have nothing to connect them to, this is where ground anchors come in. SAS Ground Anchors give you an extremely strong point to lock your chain to. SAS Ground Anchors provide an immovable anchor point, with built-in (concrete-in) options with cross brace pins to stop them being pulled out of the ground, or bolt-down versions with anti-tamper ball bearings to stop the removal of the ground anchor. Although you must either concrete-in the ground anchor or bolt to secure masonry, once done, you will have a safe and secure locking position for years and years!

The SAS Security Posts are another great option to block your trailer in, if you are keeping it in a specific place most of the time.  With the optional towbar accessory you can hitch your trailer to the post and lock it with a SAS hitch lock too.
